Who is Kalki?

In Hindu mythology, Kalki is the tenth and final avatar of Lord Vishnu. He is described in the Puranas as the avatar who rejuvenates existence by ending the darkest and destructive period, known as the Kali Yuga, to remove adharma (unrighteousness).

Kalki's Purpose

The Kalki Avatar is believed to appear at the end of the Kali Yuga, when the world is filled with violence, injustice, and chaos. His purpose is to restore dharma and establish a new golden age.

Various ancient texts, including the Srimad Bhagavatam, Vishnu Purana, Mahabharata, and Matsya Purana, mention the Kalki Avatar. These texts describe his appearance, attributes, and his mission.

Appearance

According to the Srimad Bhagavatam, Kalki will appear on a white horse, holding a fiery sword in his hand. He will be adorned with divine weapons and celestial armor.

Mission

Kalki's mission is to vanquish the evil forces that have corrupted the world and to restore balance and order. He will establish a new era of righteousness and prosperity, bringing an end to the darkness of the Kali Yuga.
