Actor Nitish Bharadwaj Files for Divorce After 12 Years of Marriage
Separation and Previous Marriage
WEB Actor Nitish Bharadwaj has filed for divorce with his wife, Smita, after 12 years of marriage. The couple separated in September 2019. Bharadwaj was previously married to Monisha Patil, the daughter of Vimla Patil, the then editor of Femina magazine, in 1991.
Marriage to Smita Gate
In 2009, Bharadwaj married Smita Gate, an IAS officer of the 1992 batch from the Madhya Pradesh cadre. They have twin daughters together.
Legal Proceedings
Bharadwaj had previously filed a police complaint against his estranged wife, Smita Bharadwaj, accusing her of various offenses. The nature of the offenses is not publicly known at this time.
